Fresh on the heels of acceptance into over sixty film festivals around the world, "Girl # 2" will screen at the prestigious Directors Guild of America in Hollywood, Thursday, March 15th 2018, as part of the annual 48 Independent Short Film Festival.

"Girl #2" is part of Shriekfest 16th annual film festival

Hollywood, CA – September 24, 2016

Known as the longest running Horror Film Festival in Los Angeles, Shriekfest will play “Girl #2” during the 2PM Short Film Block on Saturday, October 8th. The venue is the Chaplin Theater at Raleigh Studios. The festival was founded by Denise Gossett, voted number 5 out of the 13 Most Influential Women in Horror History.

Named one of the “20 Coolest Film Festivals” by Movie Maker Magazine, the Telluride Horror Show has selected "Girl #2" to play during its 7th Festival to be held from October 14-16, 2016.

The Telluride Horror Show attracts the latest and best horror films from all over the world.  For three days and nights, attendees experience an eclectic mix of horror, suspense, fantasy, sci-fi and dark comedy in Telluride’s historic Sheridan Opera House and Nugget Theater.

The Producers are pleased to announce that The New Orleans Horror Film Festival, held under the auspices of the New Orleans Film Society, has honored “Girl #2” with a nomination for BEST SHORT FILM.  In addition, actress Katy Yoder has been nominated for BEST ACTRESS for her performance as the not so meek sorority sister Jenn.  The Festival provides an opportunity for new and established filmmakers to premiere their latest works in the horror genre.  “Girl #2” will screen September 24th at 6:45PM at the Castillo Blanco Art Studios deep in the heart of the French Quarter. 



Hollyshorts Film Festival

HOLLYWOOD, CA - August 1, 2016

The organizers of the 12th annual HollyShorts Film Festival are announcing today that “Girl #2” directed by David H. Jeffery has been officially selected for the upcoming festival and will compete for the $15,000 cash prize from Zype and $60,000 in post-production services from Company 3 and Method Studios at the event.  “Girl #2” will play on August 12th at 11:59PM at the TCL Chinese 6 Theaters in Hollywood, CA.

The lineup includes 400 of the top short movies from almost every major continent. The festival received a record 2,800 submissions this year a festival record. HollyShorts, which was named “The Cannes of Short Film Festivals” by Indie Wire, and is consistently ranked as one of the top film festivals each year by MovieMaker.
